Promoted to Commander USN, 14 June 1979
It all
happened in one morning i.e. promoted to CDR, received the
Meritorious Service Medal and transferred to Naval Mine
Engineering Facility,
YKTN, VA, as Officer-in-Charge, it was hard to believe.
