One person I will never forget during my time is Japan was Miyako. She was seven years-old and was a real "Tom-boy." As soon as she got off from school, she would come over and try to learn English from me. She was a practical joker and kept me constantly amused. To think that she is now approaching 60 years-old amazes me. I wonder if she remembers me as I remember her!

Aburatsubo, when we went skin diving there. The water was crystal clear but we had to
dive off the rocky shore, as there was no sandy beach there.
