Peter Eaker, Sr. b. 1701 d. after August 1773 Lincoln co., NC and his two sons, Christian d. 1776 and Peter, Jr. d. 1798 Lincoln Co., NC arrived at Philadelphia on ship Lydia 29 Sep 1741, lived Lancaster Co before moving to NC. All fifteen grandchildren have been accounted for. Included in these are transcribed copies of all available legal documents (wills, estate: settlements, tax lists, deeds, confiscation lists and military records).

Volume I (1040 pages, 42.000 names) has "Zelpha's Journal" which records the family in SE MO., "Grandma's Little Black Book" kept by a descendant in NC, and several sketches on the families who intermarried with the Eakers in the early generations. More extensive sketches on the Hahn, Crites and other families in SE MO. Available in 3rd edition for $55.00, postage pd.

Volume II (1145 pages, 49,000 names) is all new material that came in after Volume I was published and contains more research on the family. It also includes Casper Shell's Journal of the 1830-1840s in MO, extensive sketches on Fish/Snider, Moyer/Myers, Mull, Perkins, Mani/Mauney and Hiltebrand along with some short sketches of other families originating in Lincoln Co., NC. Available in first edition for $42.00, postage pd.
