LINCOLN COUNTY HISTORICAL ASSN. Receives Lorena Eaker Genealogical Collection

The LCHA now has hard copies of ONE WISE MAN-A Genealogy of FREDERICK WISE by Lorena Eaker. We are also excited to be the home of Lorena's extensive genealogical collection. Currently, we have less than half of the collection in house, and we hope to have the remaining portion by the end of 2012. Brittany Dismuke, Belmont Abbey College student and LCHA intern, is now inventorying the collection, and we hope to have the finding aid available by the end of January 2012. Let us know if there are any families that you are currently researching, and we will make every effort to determine if there are files for these families in the material that we have from Eaker's Collection.
