FIRST GENERATION

1. Aaron HARTSHORN "the Elder" was born about 1781 in Danville, Caledonia, Vermont and died on 6 Feb 1847 in London, Ontario, Canada. He was the son of Aaron (1752-1800) and Zeruiah (Blunt) Hartshorn. The line continues back through Thomas and Abiah Hartshorn, son of Thomas and Susannah Hartshorn, son of Timothy and Martha (Eaton) Hartshorn, son of the pioneer emigrant, Thomas and Sarah (Ayres) Hartshorn.

Aaron was married to Hannah PEASLEY before 1823. She was reportedly born in England. Among their children were were the following:
