Donald HARTSHORNE.
1. William Turner HARTSHORNE was born about 1840 in Ironbridge, Shropshire, England and was a surgeon, graduating from St. Thomas Hospital in London, England. He came to America in 1873, settling in Junction City, Kansas. He became a citizen in 1889 and was appointed to the Board of Physicians examining soldiers applying for pensions at Fort Riley, Kansas.
LDS records show a William Turner Hartshorn, christened 4 May 1806, Much Wenlock, Shropshire, England, son of William and Anne Hartshorn.
He was married to Jessie Ann MCDONALD on 15 Jul 1865 in Bordesley, Warwicks., England. William Turner HARTSHORNE and Jessie Ann MCDONALD had the following children:
