was in Blacksmith. Served with the 25th Regiment ,
Battery under Captain Seth Phillips in the War of 1812.

Suffield, Hampden Co., CT

I Reuben Allen Jr,, of Suffield, CT. for the
consideration of nine hundred Dollars received from
Elijah Spear of Suffield do grant unto him a certain
piece of land on Kent's Hill so called, containing eleven
acres with buildings standing thereon, dated Oct 6, 1808.

VT cites thefollowing information:

was buried about 7 Apr 1856 in Mound Hill Cemetery , E.
Main St., Seville Guilford Twp.OH. Excerpts from

Suffield,Hartford Co., CT bounded on the north by John
Lewis, on the east by thehighway, south by George W.
Hastings and west by Pomeroy's landcontaining eleven
acres, dated April 10, 1872 witness John Mills
andChauncey B. Rising, John Mills, Justice of the Peace.

Town, Page#233,Reel #M074-412, it appears Betsy was
living with Chancy Spear. Thiscensus cite on female
between 50 & 60 years of age along with other
SpearFamily members.
