36. Elmore
HARTSHORN was born about 1816 in Ohio. He died on 26 Jan

Ohio May? 1870 (census enumeration). DEATH OF A PIONEER
Elmore Hartshorn a well known citizen and Lawyer of this city died on Friday
morning Jan 26 age 61 years. The deceased was one of the early pioneers of this
vicinity where he resided continuously for a period of 46 years. He was a man
of generous impulses and gentlemanly instincts whose position in life might have
been one of prominence if not of eminence but for a fraility which is human but
destructive. The funeral ceremonies took place on Sunday morning at Methodist
Church and was very largely attended. He leaves a widow and number of children
who have the sympathy of the community.

MCHENRY (daughter of Isaac MCHENRY and Jemima GASKILL) was born in 1816 in
