The following Hartshorns are the focus of this study:

1. John (~1714-1795) Lt. John, m. 1733, Elizabeth Spry. Died in Kent Co., DE.

2. George HARTSHORN (1765-1829), m. Hannah Oldham. Settled in Jefferson Co., OH.

2a. George HARTSHORN (ca. 1752-1829) England to Delaware, Ohio.

3. James(?) HARTSHORN (abt 1775-?), m. Ann Meridith. Kent Co., DE to Monroe Co, OH.

3a. The descendants of James(?) Hartshorn, last of Delaware.

4. William HARTSHORN, m. Mary Oldson, Queen Anne's Co., MD. No other records.

5. Amos HARTSHORN, b. 1796, in War of 1812, of Belmont Co. OH.

6. Thomas HARTSHORN, b. ~1745, in Cecil Co., MD census, 1790. Dead end?
