"Letters to the Editor."
Some folks may consider me a right-wing conservative. Guilty as charged! In this age of liberal mentality where relativism and secularism reigns supreme, I am delighted to have the opportunity to exercise my First Amendment opportunity to express my opinion, as long as that freedom exists. I will continue to support the beliefs I believe are correct. I will continue to speak against those things I personally believe to be wrong. I am proud to claim the title of Christian and profess my belief in the saving grace of the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. You may disagree with me but truth is truth. No other figure in history, religious or secular, died and was resurrected and reigned from heaven as God the Son.
If you have any question in your mind about what happens the moment you pass from life to death, you really need to do some deep thinking. God says that we shall eternally exist in one one of two places: in heaven with Him or in a place of eternal separation from Him. Jesus said "That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. [John 3:15]. You may choose to believe or reject the Bible and what the "red letter verses" have to say. That is entirely your decision. But if you were flying on a plane and the pilot said that you had a 50/50 chance of arriving at your destination, what would be your reaction? Would you take your chances and think nothing of it, as 25 million people do each day, or would you stop and consider your personal eternity. We will all spend that eternity somewhere. We will not cease to exist as the atheists would have us believe. We will not be re-born as a higher form as the Buddhists teach. We can't expect salvation through a monkey god. According to the Bible, there is no universal salvation. We are taught that "... if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep [died] in Jesus, will God bring with him." [1 Thessalonians 4:13-14]. Without any apology for my belief, I pray that everyone, including all who read my statement of faith, will accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior that they might have eternal life with Him. Anything less is futile--and eternal loss.
